New for 2027: Limited Seasonal Camping at En Gedi Resort

 

Love camping at En Gedi but wish you could skip the packing, towing and setup? Beginning in 2027, we’ll be offering a limited number of seasonal campsites from May 15 through September 30!

 

Our seasonal program will be a little different from what you may have seen at other campgrounds. We want En Gedi to continue looking and feeling like the peaceful campground our guests already know and love. Seasonal sites will look much like our regular campsites — clean, open and natural, without permanent decks, sheds or other structures.

 

While the rule for most seasonal campgrounds is 80% seasonal / 20% transient, at En Gedi we will flip that number to 20% seasonal camping / 80% transient. Because we want to preserve the character of the campground, the number of seasonal sites will be limited to eight of our existing campsites for 2027. As the program matures, the hope would be to develop new full hook up sites for each of the 8 seasonal campers, and dress them up with attractive, easy to maintain landscaping.

 

You simply leave your camper on your campsite for the season and come enjoy it whenever you wish. Seasonal campers will enjoy the same family-friendly atmosphere, campground activities and beautiful surroundings as our overnight guests, with the added convenience of having your camper waiting for you all summer long.

Pricing and Availability

For 2027, the following campsites will be available for a seasonal camping stay.
#1 - 30 amp electric
(Please note that the RV on site #1 will need to move to a temporary location during Revive Fest due to proximity of fireworks)

#3 - 30 amp electric

#13 - 30 amp electric

#17 - 30 amp electric

#21 - 30 amp water / electric

#23 - 30 amp water / electric

#24 - 30 amp full hook-up

#26 - 30 amp full hook-up

• Electric: $2,195 

• Electric + Water: $2,495 

• Full Hookup: $2,795

Each site will also incur a $50 per month electric fee, or you can choose a one time up front electric fee of $200, and we'll cover your first two weeks of electric use.

Optional:

Golf Cart Registration: $100 for the season

Off-Season RV Storage: $50 per month or $300 (October - April)
(RV's must be moved off the campsite by the owner to a designated parking area.  RV owners are responsible for winterizing and rodent proofing their units)

 

Fee Structure

1. Application Submitted - Apply without financial commitment

2. Site offered & accepted - $500 Holds the site (This will remain refundable for 14 days) 

3. January 15, 2027 - 50% of remaining balance due. (non refundable)

4. April 15, 2027 - Remaining balance due. (non refundable)

Campers will not be allowed to occupy the campsite until balance is paid in full.

Waste Management

Since all but two of the seasonal camping opportunities for the first year are on campsites that have no sewer hook-up, we plan on offering a honey wagon tank that you will be able to borrow to dump your tank.

Site Standards

To keep the campground beautiful for everyone, seasonal sites remain simple and uncluttered.

Permanent improvements are not permitted, including:

• Storage sheds

• Decks or porches

• Permanent fencing

• Gazebos anchored into the ground

• Permanent landscaping or retaining walls

• Large decorative structures

• Permanent clotheslines

• Permanent outdoor kitchens
   

Seasonal campers are welcome to personalize their campsite with portable items such as:​

• Picnic table décor

• Portable grills

• Small seasonal decorations

Everything brought onto the site should be easily removable at the end of the season, and should not be left as a hindrance to mowing and trimming when owner is not present onsite.
 

Landscaping

Campground staff maintains:

• Lawn mowing / trimming

• Tree care

• General landscaping

Please do not:

• Plant trees or shrubs

• Dig holes

• Build flower beds

• Install edging

• Spread gravel

• Remove vegetation

If you'd like to improve your site, we'd love to hear your ideas first. Many improvements can be made by campground staff so they remain consistent throughout the property.

RV Appearance

Because every campsite contributes to the overall appearance of the campground, seasonal RVs should be kept clean and in good repair.

We reserve the right to require maintenance or cleaning of RVs that become unsightly.
 

Utilities

Electric service is provided for recreational camping use.

Excessive electrical consumption, electric vehicle charging, residential appliances, or other unusually high electrical usage may result in additional charges.
 

Guests

Seasonal sites are intended for the registered camping family (one household). A day pass fee will apply to all visitors, and they are asked to check in at the office so we always know who is onsite.

Participation is reviewed each year, and renewals are offered to campers who help preserve the welcoming atmosphere of En Gedi Resort.

Seasonal campers adhere to the same rules and guidelines as transient campers.
